Janet Narh trained as a Barrister in the UK. She has worked in the legal sector for over ten years. In 2001, Janet decided to make a career change and trained as a broadcaster and now concentrates mainly on the media. Janet now works as a professional Radio and TV broadcaster, specialising in current affairs and topical issues. |

Janet was Head of Programmes for OBE TV, an African television channel until resignation two years ago to establish her own Production Company, Kelewele Productions. She currently hosts her own weekly programmes on TV and on radio and produces African Language Videos for children. She has extensive experience and strong ties in the African Community and feels strongly about educating and enlightening Africans in the Diaspora.
Some of the programmes she has hosted are master of ceremonies for various diplomatic missions in the UK including the Zambian, Ghanaian and Nigerian missions. She has had sponsorship by the UN Special Advisory Office for Africa and the World Bank to participate in international forums speaking on women equality issues in business and politics, the most recent being her participation in the inaugural ceremony of West Africa’s first Woman President in Liberia and the International Mining Investment Conference in South Africa. |
