Mrs. Elizabeth Nkansah Agyekum Moeller is a Ghanaian based in Germany. She is a trained nurse and a social worker. She is the brainchild of the idea to set up a hospital to cater specially for children in Ghana.

For the past 30 years, Mrs. Moeller guided and mentored 20 immigrant children, all for a period of 4 years minimum. She also worked as an advisor for immigrant children with integration difficulties.

With the young people whom the stress in Hamburg was becoming unbearable, Mrs. Moeller escorted them to some African countries, to spend some months in different environments to help these young people gain some psychological balance.

For the young girls, she started dressmaking workshops to enable them gain some qualification in vocational skills for their future lives.

To raise awareness for these problems in the African community in Hamburg, Mrs. Moeller directed a film about discrimination, namely: “Discrimination affecting foreign children”, which was run in series for a while on the offene kanal (a public TV station in Hamburg).
Across the seas, she decided to contribute to the education of the young people, and has single handedly built a kindergarten “NYAME YE KINDERGARTEN” at Kasoa. A town in the central region of Ghana. The school has currently enrolled 19 children. This project was initiated by to help the under privileged women in the vicinity as well as create jobs in the community. A brighter future for this kindergarten to develop into a primary school is very prospective.
